- Yes. It's the one-letter code for Lys-Pro-Val, so you'll also see it called lysine-proline-valine peptide or KPV tripeptide. It's listed as alpha-MSH (11-13) too, because it's the end of that hormone, but it isn't alpha-MSH itself.

About the KPV peptide
KPV is a peptide of three amino acids: lysine, proline and valine (Lys-Pro-Val). They are the last three of the 13 amino acids in alpha-MSH (alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone). We sell it as freeze-dried powder in a 10mg vial, for laboratory research only.
