About the DSIP peptide

DSIP, short for delta sleep-inducing peptide, is a nine-amino-acid peptide: Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu. Schoenenberger and Monnier isolated it from rabbit blood in Basel in 1977. The name comes from EEG readings in rabbit experiments, not from a proven effect. We sell it as freeze-dried powder in a 5mg vial, for laboratory research only.
