The Russian regulatory record describes Semax as well tolerated at the doses used in the registered intranasal product, and reported adverse effects in that literature are mild and local. That record is genuine, but it is also the weakest kind of evidence available in a Western framework: it is not backed by the placebo-controlled, independently audited trials the MHRA or EMA would require, and it does not cover the quantities or routes people use outside a clinic.
