- Is Semax the same as se max?
- Yes. Se max is just Semax typed as two words, and seemax or seamax peptide are common misspellings. They all mean the same seven-amino-acid peptide, MEHFPGP (CAS 80714-61-0). N-acetyl Semax amidate is a different, modified peptide.

About the Semax peptide
Semax is a synthetic seven-amino-acid peptide, Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro. The first four match residues 4 to 7 of the hormone ACTH, and the Pro-Gly-Pro tail helps it resist breakdown by enzymes. It was developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Moscow. We sell it as freeze-dried powder in a 10mg vial, not a nasal spray, for laboratory research only.
