1. About these terms
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the supply of products by UK Peptides Ltd ("we", "us", "our") through ukpeptides.org (the "Website"). By accessing the Website, creating an account, or placing an order, you ("you", "the buyer") agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Website or place an order. These Terms do not affect your statutory rights.
2. Research use only — conditions of sale
All products are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research purposes only. They are research chemicals: not medicines, not food supplements, not cosmetics, and not veterinary products. They are not licensed by the MHRA or any other authority for human use, and no medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use is authorised, intended, or implied.
By placing an order you represent, warrant, and confirm on each occasion that:
- You are purchasing solely for legitimate in-vitro laboratory research use;
- You will not use, resell, or supply any product for human consumption, self-administration, administration to any other person, or administration to any animal;
- You understand these compounds are unlicensed and unapproved for human use;
- You are aged 18 or over and are a researcher, laboratory professional, or purchasing on behalf of a research organisation;
- You accept sole responsibility for the safe, lawful storage, handling, use, and disposal of all products after delivery.
You accept that these representations are a fundamental condition of sale. We may refuse, cancel, suspend, or refund any order, at our sole discretion and without liability, where we reasonably suspect misuse, misrepresentation, resale for prohibited purposes, or breach of these Terms.
3. Eligibility and account
You must be 18 or over to place an order. We may request proof of age or research credentials at any time and may withhold dispatch or cancel an order where eligibility cannot be verified to our reasonable satisfaction. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your login secure, and for all activity under your account.
4. Products, purity and Certificates of Analysis
We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions and specifications are accurate. Purity figures derive from independent third-party laboratory testing (HPLC-UV and mass spectrometry) and apply only to the specific batch identified on the corresponding Certificate of Analysis ("CoA"). A CoA is provided for each batch.
Purity specifications are batch-specific. We do not warrant that different batches will achieve identical results, though every batch meets our minimum standard of ≥98% HPLC purity before dispatch. Product images are illustrative. Minor variation in packaging or presentation does not constitute a defect.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP), inclusive of VAT where applicable, and are correct at the time of display but may change without notice. Total price, including any delivery charge, is shown before you complete your order. We reserve the right to cancel and fully refund any order affected by a genuine and obvious pricing or description error, even after order confirmation.
Payment is taken via our nominated payment provider(s) at checkout. Orders are processed only once payment has cleared and been confirmed to us. Title to the goods remains with us until payment is received in full.
6. Dispatch, delivery and risk
Orders placed and paid before 6pm GMT on a working day (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays) are dispatched the same working day via Royal Mail Tracked 24 from Manchester. Dispatch and delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by the carrier or by events outside our reasonable control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Products are shipped in insulated packaging; you are responsible for transferring products to correct storage immediately on receipt and for inspecting your order promptly.
7. Returns, refunds and cancellation
Our full Returns & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms and is available on the Website. In summary, and without limiting your statutory rights:
- Unopened products with an intact seal may be cancelled/returned within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013;
- Opened, unsealed, reconstituted, or used vials cannot be returned for change of mind, as they are sealed goods supplied for health-protection and integrity reasons and cannot be resold once unsealed;
- Where a product arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrectly supplied due to our error, you are entitled to a replacement or refund; report such issues within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence;
- Refunds due are issued to the original payment method within 14 days as required by law, and in practice as soon as our payment provider completes processing.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We make no medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, cosmetic, or health claims for any product. All descriptive content is provided for research context only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Any loss, injury, or damage arising from any use of a product other than lawful in-vitro laboratory research;
- Any misuse, human or animal administration, or unlawful use of a product by you or any third party;
- Any indirect, special, or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data;
- Any loss arising from failure to follow storage, handling, or safety guidance, or from carrier delay.
Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the price paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UK Peptides Ltd, its directors and staff, against all claims, losses, liabilities, and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misrepresentation of intended use, or any use, supply, or administration of a product by you or any party you supply, other than lawful in-vitro research.
10. Intellectual property
All Website content — text, images, logos, branding, CoAs, and design — is owned by or licensed to UK Peptides Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused without our written permission.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that consumers resident elsewhere in the UK retain the benefit of any mandatory local consumer protections.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on the Website at the time you place your order. Material changes take effect prospectively and do not alter the terms applying to orders already placed.
