For Research Purposes Only · Not For Human Consumption
Frequently asked questions
Everything researchers most commonly ask before placing their first order.
Ordering & Eligibility
- Yes. Research peptides are legal to purchase in the United Kingdom for in-vitro laboratory research purposes. They are not controlled substances under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 or the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016. They are not licensed medicines under MHRA regulation and are not approved for human or veterinary use. All buyers must be 18 or over and must be purchasing for legitimate research purposes only.
- Orders are open to qualified researchers, laboratory professionals, and individuals purchasing for legitimate in-vitro research purposes. You must be 18 or older. We do not sell to anyone intending personal use or human consumption. We reserve the right to cancel any order where misuse is suspected.
- We do not routinely request credentials but reserve the right to do so. By placing an order you confirm that you are purchasing for legitimate research purposes. Any order where misuse is suspected will be cancelled and refunded.
- We currently dispatch to UK addresses only. We do not ship internationally at this time.
Products & Purity
- HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) is the analytical method used to quantify the active peptide content of a sample. A purity of ≥98% means that at minimum 98% of the material in the vial is the declared compound. The remaining fraction may include water, counter-ions such as acetate or TFA, and trace synthesis residuals — this is standard for pharmaceutical-grade research peptides.
- Yes. Every batch is independently tested by an accredited independent laboratory using HPLC-UV and mass spectrometry before dispatch. We do not use in-house testing as the sole quality verification. Signed Certificates of Analysis are published in our lab reports library and linked from the relevant product page; where a lot's certificate is not yet published, we send it to you against your order ID.
- A Certificate of Analysis is a document issued by an independent laboratory confirming the identity and purity of a specific batch. It includes the HPLC purity result, mass spectrometry identity confirmation, batch number, and the testing laboratory's details. Every UK Peptides order is dispatched against a batch-matched CoA, which we send with your order confirmation email and publish in our lab reports library where the lot's certificate is already released.
- Every batch dispatched by UK Peptides meets a minimum ≥98% HPLC purity specification. The exact result for your specific batch is shown on the Certificate of Analysis for that lot.
- Trace TFA may be present as a counter-ion from the synthesis process — this is standard in SPPS (solid-phase peptide synthesis) and is present in most research-grade peptides at the trace level. TFA content is not separately quantified unless specifically requested.
Storage & Handling
- Transfer lyophilised peptide vials to a -20°C freezer immediately upon receipt. Protect from light and moisture. Allow vials to reach room temperature before opening to prevent condensation entering the vial. Bacteriostatic water should be stored at room temperature away from direct light.
- Draw the required volume of bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) into a sterile syringe. Insert at an angle and slowly inject down the inside wall of the vial — do not inject directly onto the powder. Gently swirl until dissolved. Do not shake vigorously as this can damage the peptide structure. Once reconstituted, store at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe specified for that compound.
- Stability after reconstitution varies by compound. General guidelines: BPC-157: 4–6 weeks at 2–8°C. TB-500: 28 days at 2–8°C. Retatrutide: 28 days at 2–8°C. GHK-Cu: 5–7 days at 2–8°C (or up to 3 months if aliquoted and stored at -20°C). CJC-1295/Ipamorelin: 28 days at 2–8°C. Do not refreeze reconstituted peptides.
- All peptides are stored at -20°C from goods-in through to packing. Orders are packed in insulated mailers with cold packs immediately before dispatch to maintain cold chain during Royal Mail transit.
Dispatch & Delivery
- Orders placed before 6pm GMT Monday to Friday are dispatched the same working day via Royal Mail Tracked 24. Most UK mainland addresses receive delivery the next working day.
- Yes. Orders placed before 6pm GMT on working days dispatch the same day. Orders placed after 6pm or at weekends dispatch the next working day.
- All orders are packed in insulated mailers in plain, unbranded outer packaging. There is no indication of the contents on the outside of the parcel.
- No. We currently dispatch to UK addresses only.
Payments & Orders
- We accept payment by bank transfer. Secure Pay by Bank and manual bank transfer options are available at checkout.
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Due to same-day dispatch, cancellation windows are very short. Contact us immediately via the contact page if you need to cancel. Once dispatched, the returns policy applies.
- Yes. An order confirmation email is sent immediately after your order is placed, including your order number, itemised receipt, and links to the batch CoA for each product ordered.
Affiliate Programme
- Yes. The UK Peptides affiliate programme pays 30% of the item subtotal on every order placed through your referral link, including every repeat order that customer ever places. There is no minimum withdrawal, no hold period, and commission is paid by UK bank transfer. Full details are on our affiliate programme page.
- 30% of the discounted item subtotal, excluding postage - a GBP 99 order pays GBP 29.70. The rate is flat for everyone: there is no starter tier to climb out of and no reduced rate on repeat orders.
- Create an account. Your referral link is generated at signup and waiting in the affiliate tab of your dashboard - there is no application, no interview and no follower requirement. You can point the link at any individual product rather than the homepage, and download it as a branded QR code.
- Commission confirms the moment the referred order's payment clears and is withdrawable from that moment. There is no 30-day hold and no minimum balance - withdraw any amount, at any time, paid by UK bank transfer.
