- Yes, in everyday use. The plus, sometimes written out as NAD plus, marks the coenzyme's oxidised form, which is what this vial holds. NADH is the reduced form, and it isn't interchangeable in an assay, so check which one your method calls for.

About NAD+
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme, not a peptide: two nucleotides joined through their phosphate groups. Cells use it to carry electrons in redox reactions, and enzymes such as sirtuins and PARPs consume it. We sell it as freeze-dried powder in a 500mg vial, for laboratory research only.
