Peptides are synthesised under GMP-grade conditions, lyophilised, sealed under inert nitrogen and shipped to an independent analytical laboratory. Only once we receive a signed certificate of analysis confirming ≥98% HPLC purity and correct mass-spectrometry identity is a batch released to the catalogue. Lots that fail are rejected and physically destroyed — never relabelled, never discounted, never sold.

Synthesis
Solid-phase peptide synthesis performed under GMP-grade conditions at an audited partner facility. No in-house synthesis — we never ship material we wouldn’t use ourselves. Each synthesis cycle is documented and the crude product is HPLC-purified before lyophilisation.

Lyophilisation & fill
Vials are lyophilised, sealed under nitrogen, crimp-capped and assigned a unique lot number for full traceability. Vials are filled in a controlled environment and stored immediately at −20°C until shipping to the analytical laboratory.

Independent testing
Every lot is independently tested by Janoshik Analytical or Aspen Bioanalytics using HPLC-UV (typically C18 column, 0.1% TFA / acetonitrile gradient) for purity, and ESI mass spectrometry for identity confirmation. Any lot failing the ≥98% purity floor is rejected and destroyed — never dispatched, never relabelled.

Release & dispatch
Once the signed CoA is received and reviewed, the batch is released into the catalogue and linked from the relevant product page. Orders placed before 6pm GMT ship the same working day via Royal Mail Tracked 24 from Manchester, in insulated mailers with ice packs to maintain cold chain in transit.

HPLC-UV — purity quantification
Reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with UV detection at 214 nm separates the peptide from related impurities. Each lot must achieve ≥98.0% purity by area under the curve. The CoA includes the column type, mobile phase, gradient, and the printed chromatogram from the testing lab.
ESI-MS — identity confirmation
Electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry confirms that the molecule in the vial is the molecule on the label, by matching the observed mass to the theoretical mass of the named peptide within standard tolerance. Mismatches result in immediate rejection of the lot.
From −20°C freezer to your bench.
Storage
Lyophilised vials are stored at −20°C in a dedicated peptide freezer until the moment of dispatch. Temperature is logged continuously.
Packaging
Vials are packed in insulated mailers with ice packs and shock-absorbing void fill. Outer packaging is plain — no branding, no compound name visible.
Traceability
Every lot number on a vial matches the CoA, the dispatch note, and our internal release log. CoAs are linked directly on every product page.
Any of these and the lot is destroyed, not dispatched.
