BPC-157 is not a controlled substance in the UK or the US, so possession is not an offence in the way it would be for a scheduled drug. It also holds no marketing authorisation anywhere, so it cannot lawfully be supplied or advertised for human use. It is unapproved rather than illegal, and those are different things.

Controlled drug legislation schedules substances by abuse potential. BPC-157 appears in no schedule in either the UK or the US. Medicines legislation is separate and governs what may be supplied as a medicine; BPC-157 holds no authorisation under it anywhere in the world. The first means possession is not an offence. Is BPC-157 legal in the UK

It is not a controlled drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act, and there is no UK marketing authorisation for any product containing it.
